Gujarat Titans Triumph Over Delhi Capitals in a Thrilling IPL 2025 Encounter

The Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad saw a thrilling encounter on April 19, 2025, as the Gujarat Titans played the Delhi Capitals during the 35th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The intensely contested game not only displayed the magnificence of T20 cricket but also provided a thrilling finish that had spectators holding their breath.

Buttler, especially, was in exquisite touch, hitting an unbeaten 97 from 54 deliveries, comprising 11 fours and 4 sixes. His innings was a clinic in controlled power, as he timed the chase to perfection.


Sherfane Rutherford also had a crucial contribution, making 43 off 34 deliveries and building a game-turning 119-run stand with Buttler for the third wicket. The Capitals' bowlers, with Mitchell Starc and Kuldeep Yadav leading the way, did their best to restrict the Titans, but Buttler's genius was too much for them to cope with. Rahul Tewatia finished off the game with a six and a four in the last over, securing a seven-wicket win for the Titans with four balls remaining.
