Finally, after months of hype and mysterious teasers, Nothing has officially launched its most ambitious phone to date—the Nothing Phone (3). Released on July 1st, 2025, in tandem with the company's debut over-ear headphones, this phone represents a major milestone in the firm's design philosophy and technological capabilities.
Design: Transparent, Asymmetrical, and Unapologetically Bold
Remaining faithful to its heritage, the Phone (3) comes with Nothing's characteristic transparent design but adds a fundamentally redesigned back panel. The asymmetrical design includes a fresh Glyph Matrix—a circular micro-LED display comprising 489 LEDs in place of the traditional Glyph Interface. The matrix is more than mere window dressing; it provides customizable alerts, pixelated personas, and even fun mini-games such as Rock Paper Scissors.
Performance: Snapdragon Power Meets AI
Beneath the bonnet, the Phone (3) is driven by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, which provides a 36% increase in CPU performance and 88% higher GPU speeds than its predecessor. It arrives pre-installed with Nothing OS 3.5 based on Android 15, and the firm guarantees five years of OS updates and seven years of security patches—a huge bonus for longevity.
Camera: 50MP Everywhere
Photography gets a serious upgrade with a triple 50MP rear camera setup—main, ultra-wide, and a periscope telephoto lens with up to 60x AI Super Res Zoom. The front camera also jumps to 50MP, making it a content creator’s dream.
Battery & Charging: Built to Last
The Indian model comes with a 5,500mAh silicon-carbon battery offering up to two days of usage. There is fast charging with 65W wired and 15W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging for accessories.
Pricing & Availability
Nothing Phone (3) begins at ₹79,999 for the 12GB+256GB variant and ₹89,999 for the 16GB+512GB one. With launch promotions, it can go for as low as ₹62,999 and ₹72,999 respectively.
